Volunteer

Get involved in buildOn programs throughout the U.S. We are always looking for energetic individuals who are interested in supporting the work we do at home and abroad.

As a volunteer, there are a number of ways you can help buildOn empower youth and change lives both in the U.S. and developing countries around the globe:

• Fundraising Events – Help organize local fundraising events, solicit auction items, lend support on event day, and other tasks.
• Service Project Chaperones – Accompany buildOn staff members to student service projects to lend extra adult support.
• Administrative Volunteers – Help out in your local buildOn office with mailing, filing and other light office tasks. buildOn has offices in San Francisco (CA), Stamford (CT), Chicago (IL), Detroit (MI), Philadelphia (PA), and the Bronx (NY).
• Wish List - Collect for or donate to buildOn's Wish List of items needed in our offices and by our after-school programs. Click here for the list of items and how to donate them.
