Students Engaged Monthly

Total Service Hours

buildOn provides Service Learning programs for youth in underserved Bronx high schools, showing students from the limitless opportunities for success through service.

buildOn partners with eight schools throughout the Bronx, serving communities where youth face issue ranging from gang violence to food insecurity and homelessness. buildOn students in the Bronx are working to improve their neighborhoods by mentoring children with special needs, leading neighborhood beautification projects, and tutoring children at local elementary schools. They’re also combating hunger: serving at soup kitchens and food banks in neighborhoods where nearly half of all residents live below the poverty line.
