buildOn is seeking a passionate, motivated, and dedicated Trek Intern in our Boston region. Trek is an intensive international cultural-immersion service learning trip in which selected students from buildOn’s Service Learning Program travel to a buildOn partner country for approximately 2 weeks, live with a host family in basic living conditions without running water and/or electricity and work in solidarity with the community to build a school. As buildOn’s Trek Intern, your primary focus is to support the buildOn Trek program for our Service Learning Programs. Trek Interns will work closely with Trek Coordinators and buildOn’s US Programs staff to ensure a smooth and empowering preparation process for all students and their families. Trek interns will have the opportunity to travel on Trek as an Adult Support to the Trek Coordinator.

Service Learning Specialist

buildOn is seeking a passionate, motivated, and dedicated Service Learning Specialist in our Chicago region. As buildOn’s Service Learning Specialist, you will oversees buildOn’s Service Learning program methodology across all regions. In doing so, the Service Learning Specialist creates and curates curriculum on an ongoing basis for integration by program team members and acts as a coach and consultant to train and support them. As a member of the buildOn U.S. Leadership Team, the Service Learning Specialist is integral to identify and execute national strategy.
