buildOn Chapters harness the power of strong communities and apply it towards the building of a better world. Funds raised through the ongoing efforts of a buildOn Chapter go overseas to assist with school construction in Mali, Malawi, Nepal, Nicaragua, and Haiti. Chapter members will even have the life-changing opportunity to travel to a developing nation, live with host families, and participate in the construction of a buildOn school!
You can start a Chapter anywhere!
In your community you can start a Regional Chapter to fund a school, raise awareness of buildOn’s work globally, and even sponsor high school students from your own community to travel and build a school. buildOn’s longest running Regional Chapter in Seattle has sponsored four schools internationally and hosts the enormously successful Seattle Dinner for over 150 of Seattle business and community leaders.
If you are still in school, you can start a buildOn University or High School Chapter to bring your peers together around the goal of international development. Participating in a buildOn Chapter through an educational institution provides a great way for you to reach out, touch lives, and gain global perspective that will prepare you for your career beyond academia.
