Michael Franti is a globally recognized musician, humanitarian, activist, and award-winning filmmaker revered for his high-energy live shows, inspiring music, devotion to health and wellness, worldwide philanthropic efforts and the power of optimism. Throughout his multidecade career, Franti has earned three Billboard No. 1’s with triumphantly hopeful hits “Sound of Sunshine,” “Say Hey (I Love You)” and “I Got You,” as well as five Top 30 Hot AC singles, nine Top 25 AAA Singles and three Billboard Top 5 Rock Albums.

Proceeds from the Better Together concert benefit buildOn’s Oakland Service-Learning Programming. These resources help to strengthen and sustain school and community partnerships, student engagement, program materials and more. buildOn programming plays an essential role in helping to empower students to be the change they see in their school, community and beyond.

We highly recommend utilizing public transportation as parking is very limited.
BART-If you’re taking BART into the city, you can exit at either the Embarcadero station or Montgomery St. station, both of which are just one block north of the park.
Muni- Various Muni bus lines also make stops inside the Salesforce Transit Center. These include: 5 Fulton, 5R Fulton Rapid, 7 Haight/Noriega, 10 Townsend, 12 Folsom/Pacific, 14 Mission, 14R Mission Rapid, 14X Mission Express, 25 Treasure Island, 38 Geary, and 38R Geary Rapid. You can also take all Muni light rail lines (J, K, L, M, N, or T) to the Embarcadero or Montgomery St. stations, which are just one block north of the park.

Accessing Salesforce Park Amphitheater:
Salesforce Park Amphitheater is located on the Westend of the park.
- The easiest way to access it by elevator is via the elevators on the south side of 1st St.
- The easiest way to access it by escalator is from the Grand Hall. Those escalators touch down on the Bus Deck, walk forward to the next group of escalators, those will take them to the Park.
- Visitors can also access via the Salesforce Tower bridge. They need to take the public elevators, accessed from a lobby on the northeast corner of Salesforce Tower (at the corner of the Tower closest to Salesforce Plaza and the Salesforce Transit Center.
In the best interest of guests and staff, we will continue to monitor local COVID-19 trends and meet or exceed protocols mandated by local governments. By purchasing tickets to this event, unless prohibited by law, you agree to abide by the health and safety measures in effect at the time of the event, which may include, but not be limited to, wearing masks, providing proof of vaccination status and/or providing proof of negative COVID-19 test.
