Trek Coordinator Part-Time

buildOn is seeking a passionate, motivated, and dedicated Trek Coordinator in our Boston region. The Trek Coordinator’s primary focus is to support the buildOn Trek for our Service Learning Programs. Trek Coordinators will work closely with Trek Managers and buildOn’s US Program staff to ensure a smooth and empowering preparation process for all students and their families, a powerful in-country Trek experience, and a strong post-Trek experience where students demonstrate the knowledge gained on Trek.

Service Learning Program Coordinator

buildOn is seeking a passionate, motivated, and dedicated Service Learning Program Coordinator in our New York region. The Service Learning Program Coordinator leads all activities of buildOn’s Service Learning Program at one to two partner high schools to drive student outcomes and achieve KPI targets. In doing so, the Service Learning Program Coordinator partners closely with school personnel and local community partners to develop excellent service opportunities for students. The Service Learning Program Coordinator works closely with colleagues to plan and execute regional program events. The Service Learning Program Coordinator also leads recruitment and support of students for Trek for Knowledge and supports student involvement with special events, initiatives, and fund development opportunities in collaboration with other departments.

buildOn seeks a dynamic fundraising professional to strategically architect and drive all West Coast (primarily San Francisco, Oakland & Bay Area) fundraising efforts, including major gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations. The ideal candidate is a revenue focused visionary with measurable results in development that is able to create a sense of urgency and responsibility with our partners and potential partners to fully fund all buildOn programs. As Vice President of Development, West Coast, you will work to transform investors from passive philanthropists to active partners, lead innovative fundraising campaigns to increase revenue, and support our efforts in developing a culture of learning and boundary-spanning as part of ONE buildOn. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be an integral part of the development leadership team, leading and engaging smart strategic partnerships that will help support buildOn’s aggressive fundraising targets. Community-Engagement-Manager-University-Relations

As buildOn’s Community Engagement Manager, University Relations, you will launch and lead a new model to engage universities at the deepest and most meaningful levels. You’ll be embedded at Michigan State University where you will collaborate with select professors, members of student senate, the dean of the business school, and members of the business community. You will help to co-create, credit earning, social impact curriculum for undergraduate and graduate courses. You will team up with affinity groups ranging from student government to alternative spring break and the Greek community. As part of this new model we will also team up with McKinsey and Company to launch a high profile leadership award for university students involved in buildOn across the United States. Our goal is to engage at least 1% of MSU students in building thirty schools within two years.
