buildOn and GE Ring the Closing Bell of the New York Stock Exchange

As buildOn celebrates our 25th Anniversary, we’re also marking another important milestone: twenty-five years of partnership with GE, who has supported our mission to break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy and low expectations from the very beginning.

In addition to dedicating our 1,000th school to GE, we also recently celebrated our work together at the New York Stock Exchange. On November 8th, 2016, GE and buildOn students range the closing bell of the NYSE. Watch the video of this milestone moment in two-and-a-half decades of partnership:
