buildOn proud to receive $100,000 PwC grant

We are honored to be a part of PricewaterhouseCoopers Charitable Foundation’s Holiday Giving Poll and the recipient of a $100,000 grant.

PwC Charitable Foundation’s Holiday Giving poll was instated during the holiday season of 2012 as a way to encourage giving by allowing donors to choose where to donate. This year, PwC’s Charitable Foundation gave $1,150,000 to four organizations. buildOn received more than half of the votes in the second round of voting and won a $100,000 grant. Thank you, donors, for including buildOn! With this grant, we’ll be able to give the gift of hope to many students this year. 

The Foundation aims to support organizations creating solutions to meet the world’s greatest humanitarian needs and challenges in education. PwC plays an active roll in charitable giving each year, and we are proud to be a part of this year’s campaign.
