DIY Service: Stay-cation Boxes for Cancer Patients

Even while we are at home during the COVID-19 crisis, we can serve in solidarity. Each week we will be sharing a virtual service project to help spread positivity and hope to those in need.

Help bring ‘stay-cation’ boxes into the homes of cancer patients and their families. Here’s how you can help:

buildOn has joined in solidarity with For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation to help provide patients with ‘Take a Break Boxes,’ a kit with resources for respite and reflection that allows families to create priceless, memorable and magical moments together in their homes.

2. Help FPS gather items for patients’ Stay-cation Take a Break Box. Here is a list of items you can donate: crayons; colored pencils; coloring books for children, teens and adults; board games for a variety of ages
