Introducing Themes
The From the Field blog has always kept an illuminating finger on the pulse of buildOn’s day-to-day activities in inner-city high schools and impoverished villages around the world. With that in mind, we’re introducing Themes, a feature intended to inspire retrospection on our part and more conversation from our readers and supporters.

Every week we’ll explore a different aspect of buildOn’s afterschool youth service and international school building programs through the filtered lens of a Theme — examples include “problem-solving” or “vision”. These Themes are meant as a road map to guide readers through the emotion, character, and thought process behind our work in the US and abroad.
