Emails & eNewsletters

Periodically, buildOn sends emails and eNewsletters to our opt-in lists to keep supporters informed of news and events related to our mission. To receive these updates you must provide buildOn with contact details including your name, street address and/or email address. This information will be held in complete confidence, and buildOn will NOT sell, rent, trade or otherwise reveal this information to a third party. You are given the option to remove your name from our email list within each email/eNewsletter update.

  • A student’s personally identifiable information cannot be sold or released for any commercial purposes.
  • Parents have the right to inspect and review the complete contents of their child’s education record.
  • State and federal laws protect the confidentiality of personally identifiable information, and safeguards associated with industry standards and best practices, including but not limited to, encryption, firewalls, and password protection, must be in place when data is stored or transferred.
  • A complete list of all student data elements collected by buildOn are as follows: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number, DOB, Zip Code, High School, Current Grade, Gender Identity, Race, Primary Language Spoken at Home, Qualitative/Quantitative Social & Emotional Responses, School Attendance Information, and buildOn Volunteer Program Participation Information.
