Building a School in Senegal with buildOn Students

buildOn students across the country are preparing to travel this spring to some of the world’s economically poorest countries to break ground on schools. They have already dedicated themselves to bettering their own communities, and now they’re serving globally, building schools in partnership with villages that have never had access to adequate classrooms. When buildOn students go on Trek, they experience being part of a global community that’s making our world a better place. See what this experience meant to two buildOn students—Gil De Jesus and Alahna Ortiz—as they broke ground on a school in Senegal last spring.
