Sending Love to Syria

buildOn students from ARISE High School in Oakland are proving that service knows no boundaries. On top of serving their Bay Area neighbors after school and on weekends, the students are showing children displaced by war in Syria that they care. In partnership with The Memory Project, they created personalized portraits of the Syrian children, which traveled all the way from Oakland to refugee camps on the Syrian border.
