A Community’s Incredible Commitment to Education

buildOn is fortunate to have Midwest Board Member Ryan Richert traveling the globe with us to capture the incredible stories of the staff, students, volunteers and villagers committed to ending the global education crisis. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be bringing you the stories Ryan captures from the field.

In his first dispatch from a ground breaking in La Sonia, Nicaragua, Ryan captures the essence of the school building experience: the dire need of the community, buildOn’s school building approach, and the cooperation and the commitment of everyone involved. Check out the amazing lengths that this community went to to bring a new school to their village and stay tuned for more stories from Ryan.
