Walk in the Shoes of Youth Transforming Their Communities
36 Hours is a personal and immersive experience that allows business and community leaders to travel to a buildOn neighborhood and “walk in the shoes” of our U.S. students through a student-led immersion experience.
In this program, each participant is paired directly with a buildOn student and together they study the challenges facing America’s most underserved neighborhoods. Participants will speak with teachers and school administrators about issues facing our students, map out and tour the communities with buildOn youth, and most importantly, they will serve alongside students as they create the change they wish to see.
