buildOn Breaks Ground on 6th, 7th, 8th Schools in Partnership With Madonna
Madonna’s charity Raising Malawi is working with buildOn to build ten schools in Malawi, and we just broke ground on the sixth and seventh schools. Today we are breaking ground on our eight school, the Mkoko School in the village of Chorwe!
Our sixth school is the Chabuula School is in Njiti village, governed by a female chief! buildOn’s Country Director in Malawi, Maurice Muchene, reported that the villagers began working hard and fast on its school on September 24 and are already ahead of schedule. Yesterday we broke ground on our seventh school, the Ndonda Primary School in the village of Kapichira, Malawi.
